STEVEN DEBERG MT (ASCP)
Steven Deberg is a Senior Analyst with Health Care Development
Services, Inc. Mr. DeBerg has held several senior management positions in the
healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as the Laboratory Administrative
Director at The Nebraska Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the College
of Medicine at The University of Nebraska
Mr. DeBerg has also served as the Laboratory Administrative
Director at The Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was Division
President of International Clinical Laboratories in Chicago and Director of
Laboratories at Consolidated Medical Laboratories. He has also spent time as
Laboratory Manager at hospitals in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Steven’s areas of interest include resolving laboratory
organizational issues, optimizing laboratory operations and workflow,
evaluating information system performance, and developing integrated laboratory
systems. He is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on laboratory issues.
Steven has both an undergraduate degree from Wartburg College
and a graduate degree from Central Michigan University. He is a registered
Medical Technologist, and a member of the American Society for Clinical
Pathology and the Clinical Laboratory Management Association.
